The Hare never accepted being beaten by the Tortoise. He used to claim that he lost only because of a careless mistake, and that his lightning pace should have won the race. "I fell asleep that's all, it's not my fault", said the Hare. "Well, I am not the one to blame either", replied the Tortoise, "but I still won the race, fair and square."
"It was pure luck!", roared the Hare, "Let us race again please, and this time I will never stop along to take a nap or anything like that. I will just run straight through to the finish line, and I am so fast that you cannot win, it is just impossible". "Maybe are you right", thought the Tortoise, "but you show such arrogance that I am sure you will find a way to lose the race again. So I accept the challenge!"
The next day at dawn, the Tortoise and the Hare planned another race, and they stood at the starting line. Will the Hare finally win against the tortoise? If not, what could have happened for the Hare to lose again?

Annoyed by such arrogance, the tortoise thought "Of course, I didn't mean ME being faster than him. He is only making a fool of myself gratuitously. I think destiny has plans for him, let's have fun!"
"You know what? I accept the challenge!"
It was obvious that the tortoise couldn't win such a race. But even so, a course was planned, and the next day at dawn they stood at the starting line.
"This is ridiculous,
The hare yawned sleepily as the meek tortoise trudged slowly off. When the hare saw how painfully slow his rival was, he decided, half asleep on his feet, to have a quick nap. “Take your time!” he said. “I’ll have forty winks and catch up with you in a minute.”
When one doesn't show humility, maybe could he be humiliated one day.
