There is no actual evidence that the Lost City of Atlantis has ever existed. However, some intriguing hints seem to be convincing enough. Way before modern times, many civilizations knew everything about Earth and Sun. In fact, they knew more than we currently know. We can somewhat prove it, by connecting elements of independent civilizations.
How come is it possible to make a connection between Atlantean symbolism and Easter Island which is located in Pacific ocean? This picture depicts a revelation of a shared source of knowledge which took place before Atlantis. Everything becomes clear when one gets the common point.
It all starts with the posture of the atlantean sculptures (Atlantes). We know the arms are meant for stable support of heavy weights. But is there another purpose? The forearms don't even have the proper angle for the posture to be suitable as a supporting strut. Does it represent an eye-like shape instead?
Now what about the Easter Island monoliths (Moai) with strange wide eyes and massive topknots (Pukao) on their heads?
Is there any relationship between the light of the Sun and Earth?
Well, there is one: gravity!
________________________
Very old civilizations already knew that the light of the Sun was coming from gravity. The mass of the Sun produces enough pressure to cause nuclear reaction in the center of the Sun, creating new atoms and of course light.
Here is the key: the eye represents the entry point of physical light; and the head, the entry point of spiritual light. It defines the human body as the entry point of consciousness. The body is the head which is the eye. More links to other civilizations can be found in various representations of Atlantes.
The Sphinx stands for the Pukao on top of the eye-shaped atlantean figure. It means that the pressure of gravity creates light. The Sphinx itself has a human head with an animal body to express that man's head is already its body. On the other hand, Moai have almost no body at all for the same reason.
Most symbols can now be interpreted properly from this theory. According to these symbols, the Atlantean civilization already knew the body came from the Sun. As all atoms of the universe (other than hydrogen) have been created in the stars thanks to the pressure of gravity, the eye itself looking at the Sun sees its own origin. How could such a complex thing be understood at that time?
You may say "Fine, I am getting the point. The atlantean statue is the eye which can see the light, so it connects Atlantis to the Sun. The Moai statues exhibit big eyes to recall the Sun and heavy topknots which recall Earth through its gravity. But, I don't see the exact relationship between Atlantis and Earth."
Oh, this one is even simpler! Do you know the statue of Atlas, holding the Earth? Well, believe it or not, the name of Atlas' daughter is... Atlantis!
