This scene is about many legends at the same time. The legendary person Walt Disney, the legendary character Mickey Mouse, and the long-standing urban legend maintaining that Disney was cryonically frozen, but Disney's remains were cremated on December 17, 1966. In the picture, the character is made of glass looking like ice, which means glace in French (pronounced exactly like "glass").

But there is a twist. Cinderella is one of the numerous productions of Walt Disney, and there is a misconception about the famous glass slipper. The fact is that the slippers are made of fur, not glass. Why? Because in French, Cinderella used to wear "des pantoufles de vair", not of course verre, which means glass.

In this respect, I was not really surprised to see French people making the mistake, but when I saw in English "Cinderella" or "The Little Glass Slipper", I definitely laughed out loud. How come anybody could imagine a slipper made of glass? It didn't make any sense, unless the original intention meant slippers made of fur. However, it all originated from a confusion between the words vair and verre, but the last one is French. So why even English people continue to maintain the legend?
